EFEKTIFITAS LATIHAN KOORDINASI PERNAFASAN TERHADAP PENURUNAN GEJALA ASMA PADA ANAK DI POLIKLINIK PENYAKIT DALAM RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH CUT NYAK DHIEN MEULABOH
abstrak: Abstrak: Asthma has long been known and has no cure, treatment can only control the symptoms. Complete management control, not only by giving pharmacological but also non-pharmacological therapy to control the symptom of asthma, which is coordinating breathing techniques. The objective is to strengthen the diaphragm muscles so shat the body can streamline the entry and exit of air from the lungs. The study was conducted in the Internal Medicine Polyclinic and emergency unit, Cut Nyak Dien general Hospital of Meulaboh, West Aceh district. The objective of this study is to identify the symptoms of asthma before granting coordination exercises breathing techniques in the intervention group and identify the symptoms of asthma after the administration of coordination exercises breathing techniques in the intervention group. The population was all asthma patients in the internal medicine and e1nergency unit with total sample of 12 respondents. Data analyzed by using dependent T test. The results showed that the average of asthma symptoms in the first measurement was 4.17, standard deviation: 1.030. The second measurement resulted that the average of asthma symptoms was 6.67, standard deviation: 1.303. Mean difference between the first measurement and the second measurement was 2.500, standard deviation: 1.977. Statistical analysis showed that p value: 0.001, it can be concluded that there was significant differences between asthma symptoms at the first and the second measurements. It is recommended a good cooperation between the doctors and other medical personnel with asthma patients to achieve the best results. This effort is expected to be achieved/or the management of asthma dissemination of preventive and curative methods in accordance with the development and management of asthma-date. So also achieved reductions in morbidity and mortality caused by asthma or complications.
